First off, I love Amazon.com. They offer great deals and competitive prices on nearly everything you want to buy – kitchenware, gourmet food, vitamins, books, gifts, etc. And I love the free shipping with qualifying orders of $25 or more.

To extend free Amazon Prime after the first 3 months, you must make a minimum $25 qualifying Amazon Baby Store purchase each month. Or you can make a $50 purchase and that will extend Amazon Prime for 2 more months. You can extend Amazon Prime up to a year.

How the 30% discount works is that once you sign up for Amazon Mom, you save 15% off diapers and wipes. Then when you sign up for Subscribe and Save, you save another 15%, totaling the 30% discount.
Subscribe and Save is Amazon’s automatic order and delivery program. You order a subscription to an item and it gets automatically delivered to you at intervals you select – every month, 2 months, 3 months, or 6 months. You change the interval or cancel anytime.
Who qualifies?
Despite its name, you don’t have to be a mom to qualify for Amazon Mom. You can be a dad, a grandparent, uncle, aunt, or caretaker. They don’t really check.
They only ask you the age of your child so they can customize the email offers sent to you. Your child doesn’t need to be a specific age either.
My Amazon Mom experience
I’m loving my Amazon Mom benefits and have taken advantage of Amazon Prime shipping. I’ve already ordered a baby book with free two-day shipping. It arrived the next day.
And I ordered baby product and had it shipped the next day for only $3.99. It saved me a trip to Babies R Us.
With the sky rocketing cost of gas these days, $3.99 for one-day shipping is a deal!
The prices on diapers are competitive with coupons and deals you’d find elsewhere. Many times, Amazon Mom’s deals are cheaper because there’s no sales tax. Sometimes there’s an additional discount on top of the already low-priced diapers.
