Follow Up to My Cyber Monday Shopping Disappointment

Remember I wrote about how I lost an entire order placed at Gap/Old Navy.com on Cyber Monday?

Just to jog your memory, I wanted to change the shipping address after I placed the order online using a gift card.

When I called customer service, they said that I couldn’t change the address but I could cancel the order and re-order.

Then I found out after I cancelled, that I couldn’t get the refund on my gift card right away.

So I had to wait until they mailed me the gift card.

A few days later, I received my gift card in the mail, after Cyber Monday was over.

I called Gap customer service and was able to re-order all of my items again at the Cyber Monday price. And thankfully, the items were still available!

Plus, they gave me an additional 20% off on top of the already discounted items. That gave me an extra money to order another item for my daughter.

And I got free shipping! I received the items today and feel satisfied.

With the $50 gift card my daughter got for her birthday, we were able to get 9 items of clothing. That’s like $4 – $5 per item, an incredible deal.
