A matcha whisk helps, but you can use a metal whisk as well.
Step by Step Instructions
- Whisk matcha powder and milk.
- Pour into a bowl of hot, cooked oatmeal.
- Add soymilk a little at a time to get the right consistency.
- Add maple syrup to sweeten.
- Sprinkle with sliced almonds and berries.

In the video, I added water but you can skip the water and whisk with soymilk or milk instead so that the oatmeal doesn’t turn out too watery.

Matcha Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1 tablespoon soy milk or milk
- 1 cup oatmeal cooked and heated
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup blackberries optional
Instructions
- Whisk matcha powder and soy milk or milk together for about 10-20 seconds until a smooth paste forms.
- Pour the matcha paste into a bowl of hot, cooked oatmeal. Add soy milk or milk, a little at a time, until you get the consistency that you want.
- Pour in the maple syrup, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it is to your desired sweetness.
- Sprinkle matcha oatmeal with sliced almonds and blackberries. Mix and serve.
